Wheel Lug Stud Dia Upgrade
Thinking about upgrading to the SKF hub bearings, but before I install them I'm thinking about upgrading to the 14x1.5 mm stud found on the Gen5 Camaro Z28 /ZL1/1LE/SS. I think it would be a pretty straight forward process just need the hole diameter dimension to either ream or drill them out to and them also upgrade to a floating lug either in steel or titanium. I think the only concern would be edge distance but when you spread 2mm across 4 points it's only half a millimeter and then insuring their properly centered.

SKF hubs are not needed on 2009+ C6 or C7. The stock hubs were redesigned to get rid of the C5/Early C6 design issue that caused them to break under heavy track usage. The stock bearings work fine and can take a lot of track abuse just like the SKF bearings do. The 12x1.5 studs hold up very well under heavy track use and don't fail all that often. Over the 8 years I have been tracking my C7Z I have replaced the studs on two wheel bearings because I broke one stud on each bearing. Last year I replaced the studs in the other two bearings because I thought maybe it was time to replace them.
