My car was lowered all the down on the stock bolts which caused me to scrap all the time in my driveway. I raised the car up an inch on all four corners. So my question is - do I need to have an alignment done or am I good to go? The car tracks fine without pulling in either direction. he good news is there is no more scrapping.
I would say yes it does but more importantly whatever shop you take it too needs to know how to align the rear as it requires a special adapter and digital angle finder to do it correctly.
DO NOT listen to anyone who tells you it's not important.
I hade a Chevy dealer try to tell me their techs will use their cell phone as the angle finder so not even all dealers can be trusted. I would ask them to show you the tool before letting them align it or check the alignment.
