Could someone suggest a head unit to replace the standard head unit in the 2014 C7 Corvette? I am looking for back up camera and Apple CarPlay along with necessary C7 icons. TIA
This is going to be nearly impossible for you to do. Even crutchfield has no recommendations. The GM unit is such an intergral part of your car that the HMI and screen are just what your going to be stuck with. You can always add in a standalone backup camera system. There are some pretty decent wireless ones that could work, however you'll have to mount the camera screen elsewhere.
Regarding aftermarket head units, if you do not obtain a "dual" head unit, you will loose all the features of the builtin HMI including settings. The Elliot unit is dual. The Kenwood is not.
To stay "original" and meet your goal, you can update the HMI module to get aa/carplay, and add something like a NavTool for front camera. Mr. Anthony Brush @ MVI can help you with this.
