Default Looking for input on DSC RTs shock setup

Hi All,
I don't know a ton about suspension tuning so I'm hoping someone can offer some input and advice on settings for the DSC Controller with the RTs tractive shocks from DSC Sport. I installed this setup on my 2017 Z06/Z07stalled this setup last winter.

My first track day with them was at Lime Rock and I found the car to be very bouncy, something I'd never felt on the OEM setup. That was just one day so I didn't even try to change anything, it was also the first day of the season so I was just trying to get comfortable after a winter off. I reached out to DSC customer support after the event and they suggested a change and also to reset the ride height sensors so I did that but it was after the event was over.

Next event was 2 days at VIR and I didn't notice the same bouncing but the car felt unsettled/floaty, esp in high speed corners like the upper S's, like the back end was going to step out. My best time on the OEM shocks was a 2:04 and the best I could do was a 2:10. Again I just drove and tried to get comfortable and didn't mess with the DSC settings.

Went back to VIR for 3 days a month later and day 2 I started playing with the PTM settings. I read a forum thread where Poor-sha had mentioned setting via PTM to 60%F/60%R so I tried that and it felt much better, more stable. I went even higher to 65F/60R and by the end of day 3 I beat my previous PB of 2:04 by over a second.

Since then I've been to Watkins Glen twice and the pavement there must be less smooth than VIR because the car was back to being bouncy...even more so than at Lime Rock since I had the shocks at 65/60. I tried going back down to softer settings, 50/50 and even tried 40/40 and the bouncing goes away but the unstable floating feeling returns. PB on the OEM shocks was 2:04 and the best I did this year wasn't anywhere close to that...2:10 maybe.

So, I guess I'm wondering first off, is this just normal and race shocks are bouncy on anything less than perfectly smooth pavement? Or are there other more advanced settings I should be playing with to make them soak up more without feeling unstable? Or is this not normal and there's some sort of problem?

Thanks in advance of any input or suggestions!

Also, just in case it matters, I have AMT monoball control arm bushings and camber kit, I run 18" wheels with Pirelli scrubs, and currently -2.3 camber front, -1.6 rear. 0.14 degrees toe front, 0.18 rear. 7.7 caster F, and 0.7 rear. Stock ride height.
