Towing truck on the way. Rollback. Will have to load rear first due to parking.
any suggestions/ advice?
Where to hook cable?
manual trans. So.Neutral is easy..
Thanks
Tow truck driver was well prepared & knew procedure. Used the tow holes under the car where we put jacking pucks. Very simple & locked down wheels with straps. Went well, no damage.
just a fyi those slots he hooked to are not tow holes. the only gm approved way to secure a corvette is tire straps over the wheels. the slots you put the pucks are not reinforced and may tear out during the tow.
theres a small cover in the back bumper that pops out and a tow hook is screwed in. euro cars have them from gm cost is about 100$ sits in the foam cover over the battery. some aftermarket shops make a hook as well. oem hook fits both front and rear access points

I have heard that before but have to wonder if it has ever happened. I always use them to strap down. Three different vettes for atleast 20 years now.
Good to know. Seems every model year has a little something different just to keep us all on our toes.
I just purchased an emergency tow strap for my 2014, just in case. It has hooks on both ends. I am going to test it soon to see if they fit the jacking point holes. IF,,, it ever breaks down, I want the ability to pull it onto a flat bed.
