Default Weird noise

I started hearing a strange chirping/tapping sound that seems to be coming from the front of the torque tube. It almost sounds like something is loose. I mainly hear it at idle or sometimes when in motion. Has anyone experienced something like this? I’m hoping it’s just a hanger or mount and nothing too serious. Please let me know I even attached a video

Do you have access to a lift. Sounds like it could be the X-pipe or other parts of the exhaust. Has it ever been worked on. Get under the car and start wiggling things.

Check the heat shields on the exhaust manifolds. Could also be the heat shields around the secondary cats.

As kodpkd mentions, get it up in the air and start wiggling and tapping stuff.

Could be the heat shield over the starter. The heat shield over the driver's side knock sensor. The rubber insulator at the rear of the x-pipe droops over time from age and heat such that the x-pipe may hit the tunnel plate.

Just going to have to get under it and look.

sounds like a plan. I’ll have it lifted this weekend when I change the oil and transmission fluid.

Does pushing in the clutch make a difference? I'm thinking pilot/throwout bearing.

Good luck finding the source of the noise. Let us know if you pin it down and what was causing the noise.
