Default Hi Flow chatted downpipes + x pipe

Hello,
re: 2014 Z51 stick
I recently bought had installed EOS exhaust SS hi-flow downpipes with SS cross pipe with OEM rear mufflers- in my ignorance when the ad stated no modifications were required I wasn't expecting to see an engine light after a short amount of driving.
I contacted customer services at EOS who told me that it now needs to be tuned (tuning isn't a modification according to them)...
Can anyone recommend the correct tune for this or a company where I can get one either direct here in Fl, Daytona area or online
BTW the sound is freaking awesome
thank you in advance

What code are you getting? What specifically needs to be tuned? Were the rear O2 sensors mounted in at least?

You could do a google search and come up with at least 6 or more in the area. Redline Performance, Pitbull performance, Next Level Performance are 3 off the top of my head. But from Daytona to Orlando, tuners are plentiful. Do your diligence to select one you are comfortable with. You are in Daytona, hopefully it won't be that hard for you.

EFI Alchemy in Green Cove Springs has good reviews.

I would first get say Autozone to read the codes so you can see where to proceed.

Next, did you take out or disconnect O2 sensors when you took out the old system? Should be at the middle to end of the cat. What happened to the sensors if you took them out? Did you just leave the pigtail hanging?

Sounds like you bought the downpipes without the high-flow cats. That means that even though the pipes have bungs for the rear o2 sensors, you're getting codes associated with those sensors. The aft o2 sensors monitor cat efficiency. Since there are no cats in place, the sensors believe the cats have failed and set codes plus illuminate the CEL accordingly.

It's almost cheaper to return the catless downpipes and buy the ones with cats. Most Tuners use HP Tuners. They'll need to buy (and then charge you) for credits for your car ($200) plus their time to update the tune. Often times a minimum of $200, even for a simple change like this.

Edit....I will mention you could look at "Big Daddies Garage" for some of their solutions such as this: http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/angled-cel-fix.html or this: http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-cat-cel-fix.html Then no tuning is required and it's a pretty quick install, less than an hour.
