I have a Soler throttle body on my car currently and I've now been told by two different tuners, one highly recommended to me here, that the Soler throttle body makes the tuning process awful or altogether unable to be used.
Can anyone here offer any insight either way? Thanks.
I think a big plus with solar is it does just fine without tuning as is. I went with custom tuning with my A&A and didn't think it was worth the added expense of a ported unit. If the specific tuner isn't confident doing the job with it on I'd find another tuner or go back to stock and sell it.

I agree, it's not gonna much hp if any, but response is better,
Do you happen to offer remote tuning, in that case?
Yes I do. I tune a lot of cars from the forum and do remote tuning for shops.
I don't advertise on here because I have plenty of work already so I don't think I can say more than, check my profile for my email or go to my website for my contact info. Google will show you the way lol. Or just PM me.
I had this concern back when Soler throttle bodies first came out a few years ago.
It is imperative that you do a throttle relearn before any tuning is done. There was an informative thread on this topic on the HP Tuners forum back from 2020 or 2021.
The installation instructions should detail the procedure. If there are still tuning issues then you probably have a throttle body problem (i.e. excessive porting, etc.).
Have no fear! Flashing a tune into the car clears the throttle learned values so it isn't necessary to worry about this if you plan to tune your car. I don't ever do the relearn when I'm tuning the car right after modifications that include a Soler TB. Mike has these things dialed in now. I have zero issues with Soler TB's and tuning and I've tuned them all.

Thanks, I appreciate the info. I bookmarked your site and I will place an order as soon as the engine is back in my car. Also, what is your lead time usually?

Depends on workload and amount of mods to the car. Typically I need 2-3 weeks notice when scheduling dyno time but if its slow I am more flexible. If I'm busy then its harder to schedule a slot. Making a base file usually take me 3-4 days once I get a full mod list, with all detailed info, and the actual file from the client.
