Default "Jake" Cold Air Box

Just curious...those of you that have installed the "Jake" CAI on either a Stingray or Grand Sport, did you keep the accordion looking intake tube or did you replace it? If you replaced it, what did you use and how was the fitment? Thanks in advance....

Default Factory CAI (RVK) identification type for maint.

Hello,
I have a 2019 stingray I purchased new and one of my options was the factory option (RVK) CAI (Jake clear cover). No one from Chevrolet, Corvette factory can tell me the type of filter that is used in the factory CAI system or any maintenance procedures and time tables.
Do you know who manufactures the factory option CAI and any cleaning/replacement schedules, part numbers etc. I currently have 54,000 miles on my car.

Thanks for your help.

Mike

Replacement Air Filter GM part # 84689751 for Jake CAI
Replace every 15,000 miles.

These filters are pricey. The Blue Attack filter is now available for the GM Jake CAI so that maybe worth the investment. Blue Attack Jake Filter

As TomGS18 stated.....his information is correct. I did hear the "red" filter that came with the "Jake" CAI was going to be discontinued? There were some available at Rockauto. The Attack Blue filter now has a specific fitment for the "Jake".

For intake tube I got this. It is pricey but it gets rid of the baffles on the stock tube, cleans up the engine bay and to me better throttle response.

Intake Tube Fits tight and made of carbon fiber.

Yes. Need to mention one or two PCV connections when ordering, so call. I only needed one.
