Default odd question

2016 C7 stingray

My oddity any insight is helpfull

First issue got to stop light radio and bluetooth stopped working. Had a screen but no sound. I could make a handsfree call but no radio. I check here and see to disconnect negitive term to reset. I do and boom all works.
I figure check battery as it is 2 1/2 years old what the hell go buy a new AGM battery.
3 months later same thing. do process again
Now 1 1/2 month after that i got P0128 fans spinning and no temp gauge.
Ok again dealer just did a new water pump, thermo, and coolant temp sensor 6 months ago.
Again disconnect negitive term and all is good.
Take it to dealer and they have now clue so they replace thermo and coolant temp sensor again.
Boom again
No Radio
disconnect
week later fans spinning and no temp gauge.
Again disconnect negitive term all is good.

Car drives excellent no other codes when I scan it. Tested leads as did dealer and they are good. No mods car is stock.

Dealer has replaced AC unit, water pump, 2x thermo, 2x coolant temp sensor, and Trans wiring harness\servos.

Any clue what else to look for? I see no bad fuses and I am not poping any fuses.

Good luck finding out what is causing the problems with your car. It can get frustrating when things keep popping up.

Have you monitored battery charging voltage? Some of the guys have seen alternator / voltage regulator problems cause gremlins, although don't recall this one. Normal charging voltage varies between 15 volts (discharged battery) and 13 volts (charged battery). The failed voltage regulator causes voltage above 15 v.

Monitor voltage on Tour / Perf display or plug a USB adapter with display into the pop up 12V receptacle.

Loose grounds can also cause gremlins.

Just some random thoughts.

Ron
