Help Please.. Issues after drivers side long tube install
Little back story. I have a 2015 Z06 that has a cam, pulley, long tubes, x pipe and a tune. I removed only the drivers side header to install a wideband for remote tuning. After re-installing the header I let the car idle for probably 15 minutes with no issues, I took it for a test drive and it had absolutely no power and it picked up a pretty rough surging idle. I have several codes that popped up and I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction of what I messed up on the re-install. I have the car in the air and I do not see any obvious wires burnt, cut, not connected, etc… Any help is greatly appreciated.
These are the codes I have: P0036, p0037, p0056, p0057, p0097, p00f4, p0102, p2199.
It's so great to hear you are so attentive to your Corvette. If you're unable to find the cause, it is best to bring it to a Chevrolet dealership for further inspection. From there, they can also answer your questions regarding these codes. Should you need assistance connecting with one, our team can be reached via email at socialmedia@gm.com
that fuse was popped, I replaced it and it immediately popped again.
Sounds like a wire(s) got pinched or burnt, and the fuse is working as designed. Inspect the area in which you were looking, the problem is likely there.
Just for anyone coming back to this in the future I found that the rear o2 sensors above the heat shield had melted through and that is what was causing fuse 36 to pop.
Thanks everyone for your help and replies I appreciate it.
