thanks. so the banjo bolts have this thread, m10x1x27.5, 16.9thd . 16.9 thd implies 1.5 threads per MM, but the m10x1 implies 1 thread per MM. confusing.
edit, tried a 6mmx1.0 bolt and the threads lock in nice, so it must be 1.0 pitch. ordered a 10mx1.0 adapter fitting, so we'll see how that works.
