I will start by saying I don't feel I have a real issue, maybe more of a behavior that is normal but shouldn't be, or poor design. When in auto, it seems like there is a delay in acceleration when driving normal from a stop. Like a hesitation that you would feel when you slip the clutch in a manual. Push the gas and it takes almost a full 1 second for the car to really go. Really annoying to say the least. 2019 GS with 8k miles. Tranny triple flushed a month ago and did it before as well. Is this a normal trait of the 8L90? Is it not the trans at all and maybe something more with the throttle?

My A6 did the same thing. I ended up installing a Soler throttle body and a throttle controller and it made a significant difference in the throttle response. If I had to guess it was more the throttle controller that was the key, but both work well together.
Maybe get a Diablo from Diablew? I have heard some say that they get better quarter mile times with his program. He can remove the AFM and also enhance the throttle and firm up the shifts some.

You are not getting any better, 1/4 mile times with a diablo tune , it will increase the drivablity and the fun factor.....
You can use a Diablo tuner to change change pedal response but you can do the same with a throttle controller

Don't know myself. Just what some said. I could be reading it wrong but I could swear that guy said it improved his quarter mile time with Lewis version of the tune not the canned tunes.
Not sure. Throttle controller gives you ability to switch to different feels but I really wonder if it is played with a lot and then not after a while. Kinda like my Powerstroke that can accommodate 20 different tunes and switch on the fly. After a couple of months of playing, I only switched to high idle for when I had the dogs in the vehicle. No start mode was a bigger pain than it was worth.
