Default Cel p015b

New to the forum, but corvette owner for several years. This is my first post so pls bear with me. I have a 2017 base stingray M7, 40,000 miles. It's been a great car, no problems whatsoever, except a couple of days ago I had a CEL & P015B code, O2 sensor delayed response, lean to rich, bank 1 sensor 1. I understand that this could mean a bad/fouled sensor or other problems such as bad wiring or exhaust leak. I don't have the means to do anything except a basic scan so I plan to take it to a shop. I installed a Soler throttle body 2 yrs ago, installation was good and I haven't had any issues with the car since, except for the CEL. Starts, idles and runs fine. But I'm wondering if the Soler could have contributed to the O2 sensor code? Any comments/advice would be appreciated.

It sounds kind of crazy but how is your battery? Many times a low or old battery causes goofy codes to pop up.

Good thought on the battery, but it’s only six months old. Taking the car in this morning so I’ll know something soon.

Most common cause for the CEL is the sensor GM part number 12655677 cost around $60 Can get from Amazon. But use the GM part after market my be cheaper but there is a reason it cheaper. For $60 and you install you cant go wrong.

It was a bad O2 sensor. The shop replaced it & cleaned the MAF sensor, it's all good now. I thought about trying to replace it myself but just as well I didn't, they had to disassemble the exhaust & heat it with a torch to get it loose.
Thanks for all the good comments, I've been shadowing the forum for years and finally joined. I had a C6 and did some work on it myself, found a lot of good advice that saved me time, money & aggravation.
