Has anyone had their MSD Atomic Air Force Intake Manifold Powder Coated? I painted mine but the color shift paint I use is not High Temp, so I stripped it. I would like to get it Powder Coated. Not interested in Ceramic or Cerakote due to limited colors. I found a place in Texas that coats them but I'm hoping to find a place local in NJ or the tri-state area.
Plenty of places in the tri state area to get that coated and yes you can coat it, just make sure whomever you take it to fully understands what ports need to be plugged and anywhere coating shouldn't be so they can properly prep it.

There are literally places all over, you shouldn't need to go very far to get it coated. I know of at least 5 places within 30 minutes of me.
Hi, I called over a dozen places in NJ. and none them can do it. Every single one say's the same thing about the baking temp and curing. I'm only doing the top cover of the manifold. I stripped it. Should've plugged those bolt holes before painting it lol.
Thanks I really appreciate you help.
Before I stripped it.

It can be done. I have a powder coating shop in Pittsburgh PA. I did my FAST 102 intake for my WS6 years ago.. It's not PVC plastic and withstand curing temperatures
It's not just the curing, but the electrostatic procedure in getting the powder to sit right. Plenty of faraday areas on that intake.
Whoever did 2001PewterWS6 intake looks like they did an outstanding job. OP, it is worth shipping this item to a known, capable coater to do this. I used to PC quite a bit for a niche motorcycle community and have parts all over America and in Europe and Canada. All I do is for myself and friends/family anymore. I remember reading in forums shops doing composite Z06 intakes for the C5/C6. Curing temps are generally around 400F. That is when the piece itself reaches 400F, then curing time starts.
If you want a metallic color like shown above, that is a 2 stage job, expect to pay more. Getting powder down into those cracks and crevices is no easy feat and takes equipment not sold by Eastwood.
