First thing to check is the little black wire on the negative cable, make sure it is hooked up & tight. This wire is a battery sense sire for the computer. Be sure to re check all battery connections, the C7 is famous for what seems like tight connections & they are not tight as they need to be.
Your new battery may not be fully charged. Charge it or go for a 30 min drive. The charge voltage starts at 14+ and drops to around 13 with a fully charged battery. The small black wire on the negative battery clamp is important for proper charging.

checked - I changed the battery and there was no little black wine - there is a plug with wires on it on the neg cable.
Little black wire on the negative battery cable appears to be missing.
They are often broken during a battery replacement and never caught.
Thanks - just relooked and could not see it - thought maybe under the battery - but - thought it must show itself leaving the battery area- nothing on all sides. Hate to sound dumb but this is a just driving me nuts thing. LOL

You can see the little black wire in post #3. If you don't have that it could cause all sorts of issues. That's where I'd start. Perhaps it got tucked under the carpet or something? Are you the original owner? Did someone else replace the battery? Was the car in an accident?
