I've never heard of a transmission tune. Interested as these A8 transmissions are pretty clunky.

Highly recommend you reach out to BRC raceworks - LT platform specialist. His tuning made a night and day difference with my A8.
Also recommend you let him tune the car; you would be hard pressed to find a better tuner who knows more about these platforms anywhere, he is fair & honest.

if the trans is 17+ you also need to get the TCM unlocked. HPtuners provides this service for $200 if you mail it in.
you wont tune a trans tcu unless the engine ecu is also tuned since the trans calibrations are based off the torque produced by the engine. they go hand in hand with each other
