Default Rearview mirror

Can anyone assist on rearview mirror replacement on a c7 stingray? My understanding, the plastic cover behind the mirror needs to be removed along with the two screws where sun visor clips in and then finally the whole top panel before removing the mirror?? Any videos on this?

No, unplug the connector, then partially remove the plastic clamshell cover of the mirror stem, then use a small screwdriver thru the metal holes, and rotate the metal stem CCW and the mirror will pull down.
