I call BS. How did you determine it was the SAME triple flush? Call the parts department and ask how much a quart of fluid is going to cost you. Multiply that by 24. Quick glance says $50 for a 6 pack so $200. If that is correct, and I don't think they gave you the same price as Amazon, multiply their labor rate by 2.8. So far, labor is about $200 an hour. So how did they do that? People often look at the low dollar figure and don't ask the details. The devil IS in the details. Go find out the numbers and my money is you got took.
Sounds like he got took. 1/3 of the job at half the price and they get advertising to boot. They made out, I guess. People should demand an itemized quote, read and compare it to other itemized quotes and not stupidly read the number on the bottom right corner and use it for anything. Last time I asked for an itemized quote and the appointment clerk gave me some gibberish on a sheet of paper, I crushed it in front him and tossed it in his trash can and walked out.
24 quarts at $12.27 comes to $294.48. At 20 quarts, a mistake, $245.40. So how did you pay for 2.8 hours of labor? Out of curiosity, I called the parts department and it's just a hair lower than the local to me dealer.
