Default C7 Dash Display

I got my car back from the body shop recently and I noticed that the middle part of the dash display had changed. When I press the left arrow it brings up the menu on the left hand side (info, etc.), but when I press the select button it just goes back to the dash display. It doesn't go to the options for that selection. Am I doing something wrong?

There are lots of YouTube videos on how to configure the dashboard.

Here's a quickie I wrote up:

DIC

NOTE - a WHITE arrow <>^dn means you can scroll that way for more choices, a GRAY arrow means no choices that way

- Use the steering wheel buttons under your right thumb.

- Scroll left, down to Options / Settings, push OK button

- Scroll down to Display, scroll right.

- Choose Link to Drive Mode, Tour, Sport , or Track. Push OK

- Scroll left2 times, then up/dn to Info, perf,,, Select View you want and push OK

- Scroll up / down to the detail you want.

HUD display:

- Click the left toggle to get the desired view

- The middle toggle raises / lowers the display

- The right toggle is HUD brightness

Pat yourself on the back when you get the displays you want.

Have a beer

Enjoy!

I haven't used the dash settings much and it's been a while since I have. But it appears that you hit the left button to get the menu on the left. Then press the down button until you get to the settings you want to change and press Select. Then you can use the up and down buttons to scroll through the options. I "misremembered" that when you press the Select button on an option in the left menu, it doesn't give you a whole different screen. It just gives you different options to scroll up and down through in the middle of the screen you've already got. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You are overthinking this. Use my note as a guide. Play around and see what you can discover.

You can't break anything...

Have fun!
