Default Perfect stall speed

I’m Randy, new to posting. I have a 2019 GS, just added a BTR GEN V 225 cam with .644 lift, intake duration 225 exhaust 24X & LSA 213. The choppy cam surges the car at a stop in gear. This year I put a 22-2400 circle D lock up TC in it & it’s a little better but still have to put it in neutral to avoid car surging!
It’s my daily city driver & don’t want to go too high where I have to raise rpm’s too high to move car from stop. I also understand that no stall speed will mimic neutral.
I would appreciate any input on perfect stall speed?

Need a minimum of 3k stall for that cam and tuner that knows how to tune the torque model/ DD

They can tune it and make it smoother. Mine has a stock converter and was a nightmare pulling it in and out if the garage with the surging and bucking. They adjusted the swing timing and is smooth now. Too much swing timing makes the car lope harder but is annoying to drive.

You probably put in a converter to small or a cam to big. That’s why you just drop the car off at LMR or Lingenfelter, pay the big bucks and then it’s done. Put in a 3200-3600 Converter. That should help. Find a different tuner.

You don't specify your goal in regard to the HP upgrades. If drag racing is the application since you should have ELS diff which is somewhat stronger than the mechanical LS diff you could benefit from a restall by Circle D if you have the 258 torque converter to 3000 and use drag radials. Any higher stall speed and you will have axle and CV joint breakage. Circle D charges $500 and you have to send in your TC should take about 1 week. If you are doing HPD on road courses keep your current TC and fiddle with the tune since the looser TC on a road course will overheat the trans fluid.
