Has anyone found a replacement for the DT-51381 E-Diff Bleed tool? they seem to be impossible to get ahold of and my local GM dealer does not have one.
I assume it would be some type of hydraulic fitting that a hydraulic shop may have. Just wanted to see if anyone else found a hack or replacement for this before i pull the hose and start searching.
If you can find a stock Differential Oil Pump Pipe, all you need to do is install the pipe in place of the original and do not connect the other end of the pipe so fluid can drain out of it. The tool is the connector used on the pipe and some tubing to permit draining. Another way of doing it may be to disconnect the other end of the stock hose from the oil cooler and collect any drained flud dripping from that end.
I bought the last differential connector in the GM system… but it ended up being the wrong one and I bled my diff without it.
i keep meaning to go to the hydraulic supply store and figure out what the Eaton part is for the reciprocal side. I can just mail you mine and you can take it in to a hydro shop if it helps?
