The c6 ls3 engines have a steam vent line that connects from the back of the heads to the radiator overflow through a plastic T fitting right over the top of the radiator. Under the air intake, hard to see.
These plastic T's do fail, not common, but not uncommon either, and could be a big problem if they fail while driving.
So, the question is, does '14 lt1 have them also?

I don't know but my 19 has a hose from the top of the radiator to the T-stat housing.

I finally got a chance to compare my c6 and c7, and the c7 is different.
The c6 has a small hose that comes from the back of the engine (hard to see where exactly) and goes to a plastic T under the intake, on top of the radiator, that T's to the overflow tank and the radiator.. It's not unusual for this T to crack. After mine cracked recently, I replaced it with a stainless steel one. I thought I might do it on the c7, but not there.
I hate critical plastic parts.
