Have just purchased 2016 C7 Stingray Z51. Already aware of AFM hazards. Considering Range's plug & play module. But I'm also looking at throttle/performance response, ie Soler. Are there performance controllers/ tuners that do both, enhance performance and disable the AFM? Thanks
April 15 update. I couldn't find definitive performance from one device, so I've opted for temporary fix of both Diablo Sport's Sprint AFM disabler and Soler's throttle response module. Once I find the right engine tech I will opt for the complete AFM delete package.

Since you just purchased the 2016 I'm assuming that you don't have a warranty. If that is the case, then I agree that a tune would be the best way to go. Welcome aboard.
The Range device and Soler throttle controller are very good place to start. They are not very expensive. I had the Range device copy, and still have the Soler throttle controller, very easy to install. Welcome. Pic's please.
Deleting the AFM will be the eventual goal. I need an interim lock out until I can accomplish that. Do you have a recommendation for a tuner that achieves both throttle performance like Soler and AFM lockout like Range AFM delete? This is a daily driver; no intention of hot-rodding.
Tuning out the AFM with a device such as a Diablo I3 will help 'reduce' AFM failures.
A lot of these failures occur during the switch over phase (V8 to V4 and back) due to a mis-timing of the AFM lifters locking pins. GM even mentioned this occurrence in one of their tech video's.

Thank you! I was a classic Mustang fan all my life but I can't afford a decent one of those... So I became a proud C7 owner by a crazy twist of circumstances. I'm going to join a local Corvette club; of Spokane, WA.

Thanks. I did opt for the Diablo Sprint AFM disabler and the Soler throttle controller. Once I find a Corvette engine tech, I'll opt for the delete package. Did you catch the photos I posted?

Got it. I opted for the Diablo Sprint AFM disabler for now.
