Default Stingray with 15 inch conversions.

Recently just purchased a c7 stingray with a Carlyle 15 inch conversion, obviously I know the setup is for straight line performance. But I spend most of my time on the mtn. If I switch tire setup how much corner performance am I losing with this setup? Is there anything I can do to be able to keep the 15inch setup and not lose much cornering ability? I’m sure I won’t be able to have my cake and eat it to I’ll have to pick

You may get better responses if you specify wheel width and tire size front and rear.

Off hand, a 15" setup for the drag strip or even roll racing will have greatly reduced cornering capability.

no I understand my current tire setup would for sure hinder corner ability’s but I’m talking change wheels and tires, I’ve noticed no sway bar either, is that something I can add with 15 inch setup, along with changing wheels and tires and sway bar would cornering performance be close to stock?

Your only loss will be reduced braking if you go back to a standard wheel. The kit uses smaller rotors and calipers. The Knuckle and control arm won't really have any affect.

thanks! I knew I would with braking, but was really curious about the other parts. Going to look around and see if there is a sway bar that’ll fit the 15s so I don’t have to take that off every time, if I do oh well. Thanks again!
