I see that GM sells OEM motor mount heat shields, but I don't recall my mounts ever having heat shields. Part number is 84060073.
Were these installed on all C7s from the factory?
I am going back to stock after noticing my engine sitting lower on the Hinson mounts and one of the dry sump lines rubbing on the chassis brace. I do run the car decently hot on backroads and I'm hoping to work my way up to HPDE, so I will be putting a lot of heat into my factory manifolds and cats. Thanks in advance.
