What's the price tag?
After seeing the laundry list of improvement's that everyone is talking about at this point over the base C-7! Wide body, carbon brakes, F/I, etc
I think the price goes over the 100 k mark to 120k then a serious dealer mark-up over MSRP!
Hello 130-135k!
Anyone care to predict the price!

They will sit just like the Vipers are.

Z06 Base $75600+Z07 $7500+MSR $2495+Carb Fiber. Opt $3995+ Carb. Fiber Hood $2495 = $92085. (Essentially A ZR1 with a 427 engine)
ZR1 Base $111,600. To get the additional cost of the LS9 engine &misc you get $111,600-$92085= $19515.
OK My assumptions are as follows:
C7Z06 Base will come with MSR, carbon fiber hood +LT4additional cost so I get
$75600+$2495+$2495+$10000 est.=$90590.
Additional options:
2LZ $4660
3LZ $8860
Z07 $7500
ZR1 Hi. Po package $1495
So I'd order a base 2lz for $95250
Add Z07, carbon Fiber option and Hi Po option your talking $108,240.
The big unknown is the additional cost of the LT4 engine. If it's 19,515K more like the ZR1 than my examples would range from $105,250-$117,755.
Hope it's the lower scenario but only time will tell.

100K+ and they fill fly off the lots. There is a lot more then the 110K price tag that is keeping the Vipers on the lots. The Z06's will be back ordered with a 100K price tag.

What else is holding the Vipers up? I hung my hat on 92K "starting" price for the Z car. No one will touch this car for the ground floor price at the start, though.

I think the Z06 should start at 110K and should be built in very low numbers , like 500 annually, so they will be almost surely collectible.

Z06 2LZ, moderately optioned, will be under $90k.
Z51 Corvette is what, $65k? Round that up $20-$25k for Z06. Then apply typical GM discounts. End result: after initial rush to get the car, prices will settle around the $80k mark. Maybe lower.
You start flirting with $100k and people start thinking Porsche, Maserati, Mercedes AMG. Yes, I know the performance isn't there with those two, but 99% of people don't care about that.
There is absolutely NO way the Z06 is going to be $100k car. NOT HAPPENING FOLKS!

You're smoking something if you think Joe Sixpack is paying $105k for a Corvette. Especially when the Z51 is fast as stink and costs $65k.
What are people getting for an additional $40k in your scenario? A supercharger, a carbon fiber roof, some bodywork, and wider wheels? I think you're confusing GM with BMW.

I don't know many "Joe Sixpack's" affording $55K cars let alone $100K cars.

I predict just under $100K to start with and loaded up to just under $120K.
Hope it has a DCT!!!

GM needs to step up their (Earl Scheib) paint big time to be compared to the Viper paint. That adds tremendously to the costs, and I think people will be reluctant to pay Viper price for C7 paint jobs. Therefore 85-90K for a great sports car, decent interior, ... screw the paint, it looks OK!-
