Not sure if it is the color or what, but that front end should be more aggressive IMO. Still looking forward to the new Z and really hoping for a Vert version.

GM has always advertised the Z06 package in the C5/C6 era with specific emblems on the car...
I agree...this looks like a base model/Z51 Stingray.
Now, the goof of a programmer with the metadata I can understand. It's easy to forget to hide that stuff until the page goes "live".

If I remember correctly GM stated a long time ago the C7 was designed as a wide body to begin with. I suspect they did that to homologate the car to the max wheel track width permitted in the FIA rules.

i would be totally surprised if that's it. I'm not really sure I believe the HP numbers of 620/650 yet. I would have bet the farm on 650 HP myself. Not that 620 isn't a good number but I was looking for more. Now I am believing there will be a ZR1 down the road. And that's a good thing !!!

What was leaked was the meta data, not the picture guys. Meaning just a few word Google's search engine was able to grab before the page was taken down by GM. This kind of goof up was so typical of many programmers (I was head of IT for 20+ years) and I tend to believe these numbers are going to be accurate.
