and counting! Still dont see the problem with the auto... its been working well up until now and finally people can buy a "z06" with an auto.

Just be glad they still offer options given all the anti-torque converter and DCT-only police roaming the boards.

I understand the sentiment not to have an auto in the Z06, I was the same way about the GT3. At least the Corvette still has a manual option unlike Porsche. But from a numbers standpoint it makes sense. The average age of Corvette buyers is up there. A lot of guys just don't want to row gears, and more Corvettes of any sort will be at show and shine than the track. So it makes sense from that perspective too.

Not saying I support it, but it is a smart move by GM.
