GT-R will still walk a C7Z on the street from a stop light with AWD.
"This is the Vette for the street"... really?? Since when did you not have enough downforce in your Vette on the street?? When do you need ceramic brakes? When do you need a more aggressive rear spoiler??
If money was no object, i would want a GT-R and a C7 Z06 (and a couple hundred other cars . The GT-R is an amazing off the line sprinter with pretty damn good handling for a near 2 ton car. The acceleration is quite insane and is fun in it's own right. The Z06 on the other hand will offer nearly the same off the line acceleration numbers but higher trap speeds and likely lower stock for stock 1/4 times. Then after the 1/4 you can play in autocross and HPDE events and humiliate GT-Rs that can't rotate like a Corvette.
The GT-R will offer a little incognito action as it isn't as racy looking as the Z06, it's funny that the GT-R really only stands out to car people, while the Corvette stands out as a super car to everyone.
except that a stock 2014 GT-R runs a 2.8 sec 0-60mph and the C7Z will be lucky to run a 3.0 or 3.1.
Dont get me wrong, I'm a huge Corvette fan, otherwise I wouldnt own one, but give credit where its due. The GT-R is king of the streets because of AWD.

Talking about a "Stage 1" for the "calle." What was revealed is the "Stage 3," "Silly."
