Found this surfing other forums. Haven't seen it here, unless I missed it?

Last few seconds shows a standing start run with the tires chirping into 3rd in about/under(?) 4 seconds (didn't put a stop watch on it).
To save trouble, here's an earlier post:
Assuming a 2.73 rear end like the Auto Z51, top speed in each gear is:
Gear Ratio MPH
1.... 4.56... 39.88
2.... 2.97... 61.23
3.... 2.08... 87.43
4.... 1.69... 107.61
5.... 1.27... 143.20
6.... 1.00... 181.86
7.... 0.85... 213.96
8.... 0.65... 279.79

and i tried to time her, by the time tire chirps is aprox 6 sec
ie 0-87 mph in 6 seconds ?
but i didn't like the way converter was slipping on gear shift, i hope there is no slush converter involved after initial take off... LOCK up Converter
