With the Stingray, the Alcantra steering wheel is included with suede inserts on Comp Seats only. Assuming the Z06 offers two seating options like the Stingray, I'd imagine they would follow suit. If the Z06 includes the Comp Seats as a standard feature, the Alcantra steering wheel will be presumably be included with the suede insert option.

Don't bother having it done in the secondary market. It will certainly be available as an installed option with certain level trim packages or as part of an option group That said, I ordered the suede OEM Stingray steering wheel for my C7 after the fact from Bob at Fitchner Chevrolet and installed myself. It cost me about $300 which is a bargain. Rest assured, the suede Z06 wheel will be available through GM parts shortly after the car goes to production and I am sure it will be very reasonably priced. Especially when you consider that the original wheel will be worth some money in a private party sale.
