Le Mans
Arriving at the Corvette Corral.
She cleans up nice after a 700 mile trip.
Heading to the Drivers parade.
Giving Johnny O'Connell some racing tips
Actually I have the Pfadt JOC suspension, so we were talking about that.
Fuel rail cover autograph complete.
Ready for the parade.
Fine I will do a rolling burnout. Its for the kids really.
Ready for the track time. They didn't let us off the chain, but 120 mph was better than nothing.
C7R - What an awesome car and unique sound. There were tons of F and P cars and about half of the F cars were "retired" half way through the race. We only had 2 cars and pulled a #2 and #4 position even with the BS number lighting that put us a lap behind. It was funny to see all of the P&F fans with their shirts touting the number of wins. Brute force, if it is not working, your not using enough. With that many cars in field your bound to land one on the podium.
I attended last years race, this year I couldn't make it unfortunately. I'll try to be there next year and join the parade.
Congrats on your beautiful Vette and thank you for sharing the pics!!!

Seeing those tiny air inlet restrictors makes me think that someone like Smokey Yunick could invent a way to get a bit more air into the intake by another route that scrutineering would never catch. Just sayin'.
