well i too am looking forward to the release of the C7 ZO6. I was checking out all the pics i have saved to my computer and got to thinking and wondering how it would look as a mid engine car. so in my boredom, i figured what the heck, i'll just shop it and see what i could come up with. now don't get me wrong, i love everything about the car. i was just killin time in doing this, while im waiting.
It looks fantastic. Too bad G.M. cannot be modivated to build and sell such a version. I would order one immediately. It seems the design staff and/or management is stuck in some kind of time capsule.
G.M. if you want to see sales pick up for the Corvette, it is time to progress forward and Tranformer type designs is not progression. What is the old saying? You can put _____'s on a bull but it is still a bull.

Then everyone cries and bitches how corvettes aren't affordable anymore. Plus while it's a cool idea what would be the real benefit? A C6 Zr1 will kick the **** out of an r8 v10 on a track or from a roll.

Why would this design be any less affordable? I suppose G.M. may opt to take advantage of a new product and up the price somewhat but it would be in their interest to expand sales not minimize their market. Zora had pushed to go mid engined ( just a natural progression of engineering and design).

If GM decides to make the Corvette mid engined one day, you can bet it will be much more expensive. There might even be a Corvette replacement to take its place as the "bargain" sports car.
