Base Aero Kit
What is on the base car? Lots of pics, but I am not sure what they are of.
For example, is the huge spoiler on the base Z?
Are the front fender extensions part of the base?
Is the front splitter on the base? The larger corner pieces the upgrade?
Or is the base basically a widebody Stingray without any splitters or rocker pieces or fender pieces?
etc

The best way to understand is to look at the pricing options available in this ZO6 forum. The pricing options breaks out what is available. There is a smaller Z51 spoiler as a standard and larger as an option. One must only upgrade if one wants the ZO7 option. There are three different rear spoilers and front splitters. Again looking at pricing breaks out what is included. The front wheel flairs are standard with any model. There are many pictures of a ZO6 with the ZO7 option and not many pictures of the "base" package. The spoiler/splitter upgrade also provides skirts in carbon fiber finish or carbon flash black.

From the above video:
Looking at the stage 1 myself and will explore removing the front splitter, front fender spats, and rear spoiler for a clean look. Shark Grey, yellow calibers and 2LZ dark grey interior.

Honestly, I will probably just keep my 14..... I am basically looking at 18K for widebody and supercharger, the rest I don't care about.
While I will miss the widebody, I can easily make great power with the LT1.

Do you guys think stage 1 would be easier with curbs and speed bumps than stage 2 or 3 or are ther all basically around the same inches off the ground anyway.

I would really love to have a Laguna Blue/Black 2LZ Z07 coupe with Stage 1 Aero and non-cup tires. I hate the batarang splitters that most of the aftermarket is doing, I want to be able to drive my car in all weather with no concerns, but I still want the stiffer suspension and carbon ceramic brakes.
In the real world, I'd have a Z07, swap the spoiler and front splitter for Stage 1 pieces, and get a set of Forgelines with regular Super Sport ZPs and call it a day.

Going with an E-Force sounds good for someone with a 2014 to make up for the horsepower difference. New wheels, that will allow you to increase the size of the tires, especially the rears, tucked into the rear fender wells, will be needed though.
Within the last month, I've seen two C7's sitting on two different used car lots here in Springfield, MO.

I think you personally are looking at more than 18K as you have a 2014 which will have some drop in trade in value vs comparing the price of a new 2015 base and a 2015 Z06.

Trading in your 2014 and 18K cash for a Z06 is very good. I doubt that very few people can do that. Did you buy your 2014 at employers or suppliers pricing?

Widebody, larger wheels, built motor, supercharger, stronger drivetrain(confirmed by GM engineer at Carlisle), HUD standard, Magnetic ride control standard, better resale down the road, etc. All this with the 5 yr/100k warranty that is gone once you start modding the LT1.
