I believe in Mid Sept. There is a thread that lists the dates.

I spoke to the owner of the dealership where I'm #1 on his Z06 list, and he said this about an hour ago:

Yes, production will start in the fall however it will be a scenario where very few cars get built in the first couple of months. As you saw in my last email the dealers allocation letters are supposed to be posted tomorrow Aug 28th. I will call you once they are posted and yes they are sometimes a day or two late. Please note that it is not customary for GM to give any dealer a production time frame for the units promised on an allocation letter, meaning that a dealer who gets 10 may have them all allocated in the last production month of the model year and a dealer who gets 2 may have them allocated in the first few months of production. So don’t let anyone mislead you on that.

So, you are still first in line for one our units and if all goes well the letters will be posted tomorrow and I will call you once I see it!

Thanks to Elegant over at Stingrayforums.com for this very valuable information.
Some seem to think that since they have entered an order into the GM system they will get their car built sooner. Not true!

"September 2nd (Tuesday) is the official USA Z06 allocation day. Confirmed that initial orders, for those dealers which have approved Z06 coupe allocations, will be received by GM on/about Thursday, September 18th (e.g. first consensus).
Dealers can place Z06 orders before that date, whether they have allocation or not, but those orders do not get acted upon, nor are they preferenced over orders submitted during the first official, approximate September 18th consensus.

A person could have their dealer write up and enter a Z06 order today, yet that order could remain at status 1100 for the entire remainder of the 2015 model year. The reason why I re-stated the previous fact two ways is that so many were seduced a few months ago by their dealers, into thinking that the earlier an order is placed, the greater chances of one getting their status-2000-accepted; however, order submittals timing means zip/zero/nothing as far as order acceptance, nor on a car's delivery date. (Whoops, just stated that a third different way, yet willing to bet that timing of order placement will come up at least twice more....) "
