Firstly do they offer it on the 2015 Z06, and secondly what type of performance gains do you expect and thirdly, how much different will the exhaust sound compared to regular stock one?

The Z's will come with a dual mode exhaust, but I suspect it will have larger piping as well as a more aggressive sound than the Stingray NPP.

If your point is there is no gain, since the Z06 does no offer a non NPP exhaust to compare to, .....OK! The point being the NPP offers an increase in hp & sound modulation, & is very popular option on the Stingray for those reasons.

Exhaust, performance, aggressive exhaust sound, with 4" polished stainless-steel tips.
And here's how it is described for the Stingray:
Exhaust, performance, increases to 460 horsepower, aggressive exhaust sound, with 4" polished stainless-steel tips
Sounds like the same thing.

How many catalytic converters are on the C7 Z06? I live in upstate NY so I need the emissions stuff or I can move to a county in PA that has no emissions law so no cats required.

Test drove a 2015 Z-51/A-8 an hour ago. In the settings controls, there are 4 choices that control how soft or loud the exhausts sound. The quietest choice is "stealth". Can't remember the names for the other three, normal, sport and open(?). Whatever, the sounds are definitely different.
