Default MacMulkin list

Anyone put in an order with these guys lately? I'm curious what the list looks like.

Coupe manual buyer here, hoping to slash the line

Placed my order for a Vert last week and they have 176 allocations and I was their 30th order. The phone was ringing off the hook when I was there. I know they tried to get above MSRP but they are now selling at MSRP. They made an error in judgement and they changed their minds. I purchased my 2009 ZO6 from them and have always been treated great, plus they are only an hour away.

I was there Monday afternoon with a buddy of mine. He plcd his order for a 2lz cpe with stage 2 aero. He was 39th as per the salesmen. Wish I was able to get my order in now. Salesman stated they would put 17 orders in the system on the 18th,
Anyone ordering standard tranny tomorrow gets a car built and probably delivered some time in Nov I would guess maybe even late October.

If you need a Z early on call MacMulkin.

Music to my ears guys! I was told I'll be in the 40s. That seems to corroborate the numbers you guys were given.

I've talked to the top 30 dealers by volume. I must say, the small dealers really left a sour taste in my mouth. The farther I went down the list making calls, the worse their offers and manners were.

Some bits were pretty standard, "this is a rare car" "everyone wants one" etc etc. Some where just bizzare.

This one dealer would only take people that walked in. Then you are given the choice to enter a lottery for one of the 3 allocations they have. 12 people were already on the lottery.

One medium sized dealer in the middle of the country wanted $10k over MSRP and did not give any straight info about allocation either.

FWIW I think the top two dealers are the best option in terms of allocation/price/know-how.

I received an email from them but I am not ready to order yet. I got on the list late knowing that I was not going to be ready until early next year. I'm guessing they are just resetting their previous list.

10k over is low compared to the dealer I talked to in Washington state. He told me they would be asking 25k over for the 1 Z06 allocation they were getting. Looks like McMulkin would be the place to order from right now. I'm sure other large volume dealers would possibly do MSRP also.

In California this makes some sense, as there aren't many z06 to go around but people can afford them. Most of the big dealers are on the east cost. Seems easy to shop with your feet, aka drive to a big dealer to pick up the car.

No call today but I knew the verts would be on constraint. When I talked to them on Wednesday they told me all the orders going in were for coupes with manual transmissions. I hope to be part of the next group in a couple of weeks. I ordered a vert with manual trans.

MacMulkin is pushing my order to 2000 status for this allocation. These guys have been top notch with me throughout the whole process.

This also means they have plenty of allocations since I was relatively a late comer. If you want a coupe manual you may get one pronto with them.

Never bought a 'Vette with them but so far I recommend them.

At this rate I can't clean the garage fast enough! Who knows, the train delivery might take 2 months.
