Dealer availability
I'm #1 at a dealer with one allocation. They say they're unable to place the order yet but will let me know as soon as they can. The dealer is a family friend so there's nothing suspicious going on, I'm just concerned they may not have good info. Should all dealers be able to place their first order?

That dealer may get an allocation to place an order soon or May!
If it is soon then I hope you want a manual tranny as the auto is on hold for 1-2 months. Some other constraints are in affect also.
If your order has one of the constraints then that dealers allocation will go elsewhere and you are not getting a car.
