I need to know if I'm just being impatient or if I have reason to be worried. I placed my Torch Red with black interior ZO6 September 8th and I am still at status 1100 without my order being accepted by GM. I don't think any part of my order should be causing a delay: 2LZ, 7-speed, CFZ, painted roof, standard GT seats, nav, black wheels. Anyone else have an order placed a month ago that has yet to be accepted? I keep seeing posts about people getting moved to 2000 and 3000 fairly soon after placing their order and I'm just wondering why mine would be taking so long.
It may have to do with your dealership not having an available allocation for you during the 1st consensus cycle (which passed now)... what did they say about what's causing the delay?

A lot of dealers are playing customers like this. Even Kerbeck!
Dealers may tell you they have an allocation, but they are most likely just talking about one of their promised cars for the model year run. This DOES NOT mean they have an actual allocation for the current consensus cycle. You won't move to 2000 until they do. Good luck, could be a while.
The dealer's allocation will be spread over time between now and 2Q2015. You and most of the rest of us are waiting until our dealers get approval to place our orders with GM. Some of us will have orders accepted in October and some in as late as April or so. Best to speak directly with whatever manager is doing the ordering and ask for the straight story.
I wouldn't get too bent out of shape just yet. Not one Z has been produced, and there will be AT LEAST one more consensus cycle before production begins.
Last year a bunch of us were all fired up waiting for the Stingrays, watching event codes, talking to customer service, and bothering our dealers. It's an exciting time for Corvette owners. In a short time, we will all have our cars.
As mentioned above, the allocation your dealer has may come next week, or next summer. I don't know if they actually know when they get it. My dealers single allocation came in the first round, and my order was accepted without any constraints.... Which surprised all of us.
Don't be frustrated, be happy that we all can even buy one of these things!

How true. Unfortunately it seems like too many sales people would rather pretend they know and give an incorrect answer than be honest and say they will need to check.
There is nothing to be frustrated about. There have been 2 consensus cycles so far. Based on estimated production of 15-20% that means about 600 orders have been accepted. Your dealer should have received an email stating exactly how many 2015 Z06's they would receive. If you are really worried that something is up ask him to show you the letter. There is no guarantee when a dealers allocation will be pulled. Obviously the big dealers are getting multiple orders pulled each cycle due to their huge volume. I am still at 1100 at a small dealer. I'm number 1 of their 2 cars for MY 2015. I am hoping that I will be pulled soon, but I also realize that it could be months as well.
BTW, the next consensus is this coming Thursday (oct 9)

In the same boat. Number one with a dealer with two verified allocations. Preliminary order placed; frustrating, but it is what it is. Until then, I just drive my truck around pretending its my car :-)
How do you think us guys that are ordering "automatics" feel???? We are completely at the "back of the line".
Very frustrating. However, I have a feeling it will be offered two weeks from from now when the next Z cars can be ordered. My order should be placed then.

Waiting that long just to get the last 2015 ZO6 made while knowing that orders accepted after yours would be titled 2016 would really bite the big one

I prefer to stay at the "back of the line" until GM is comfortable building my car with an A8. Heck, in upstate New York the season to drive the car is about to close...so no immediate rush here.
Your dealers work bench will show them their allocation and if the can place a order against it. Make them show u the work bench screen. To many dealers playing games these days.
Don't stress to much. My order last year for my 2014 C7 Z51 order didn't go in till the second consensus and I got my car the first week of October. Way before most whom were in the 1st consensus pull. I was VIN: 1545

I got my c7 vin: 4195 the first week of October 2013, ho hold ups. Trading it in this week for the trade in on the ZO6. Have to ... Plates are now expired!
Another thing to consider is that not all allocations can be used to order a Z51 car. The dealer may have an allocation but some of them may be for ordering a base coupe or convertible.
