I hope we are in the same boat.

Once we get rolling and someone knows for sure what their VIN is and day the car came off the line it should be pretty easy to extrapolate your build date within a day or so. I think I read where they were building 180 cars per day.. that should mean 30-35 Z's per day. I'm going to try to pinpoint it and make the 3.5 hour trip to BG to hopefully get the cheapskate buyers tour.. I've been able to do this on my 01, 02, 07 and 12.

Also wondering since you are in Ohio and me Minnesota, I also remember reading a similar thread and the person was in Illinois....
The constraints on the roof packages will cause a lot of phone calls.
Can't believe that after over a year of manufacturing and purchasing they still can't fill all the orders based on the roof package chosen. Seems ridiculous.
As stated in the other thread the TPW that I was quoted was straight from my workbench order. Maybe they just want to get cars into the hands of the best drivers first
JK... i am going out to see my guy tomorrow morning. I will ask these specific questions and try to get some clarification.

I still don't get this reaction. People understand that the goal of the builder isn't to eliminate constraints right? For the most part these aren't screw ups.
I am sure that on the available infrastructure they produce all the carbon roofs they can. To produce more would likely mean a fairly large investment on which they don't see an opportunity for a return.
Constraints are about bringing the car in at a certain price point really.

Can't wait to see the first order go to 3300
I've been at 3000 since 9-24-14. The TPW is not set until 3300, according to the chat I just had with Chevy.
I hope your TPW is correct.

It seems unlikely since there are people who have been at 3000 for a while that have yet to receive their tpw. I suspect my tpw will change in the coming days.

It is, however, a Target production week. It's something they try to hit. Hope it comes fast.
This will be just like the early Stingray orders. The TPW's will change, the early ones are Bogus. Any issues will cause delays. Then you'll be even more frustrated when the later built cars are delivered before the earliest cars.
