Hi All, Great site.
I was wondering if anybody knows when or how the plan is to return the engine build experience option for C7 Z06 LT4. I know there are 2 engine plants now but the one at Bowling Green could be accommodated. In my opinion it was a distinctive GM offer for those willing.

There will be a LT4 build experience at the Performance Build Center in the Bowling Green Corvette assemble Plant. The program is being planned, evaluated and the build line is being set up. The entire package is close to being completed and will be presented to the public soon. As the build experience was presented in Wixom, Mi., GM and the PBC in BG will make sure that your engine build experience will be a time to remember. I, and the other builders at the PBC are looking forward to working with you, the customer, in the building of your LT4.

Thanks for the info Barry. I really hope it is affordable, as the Z06 will be a gift to me for my 70th birthday and I want the whole thing to be special.
Thanks, great info. I hope it will be offered to Canadian buyers as well. I wouldn't buy a new C7 Z06 any other way. GM really stepped up to a new level of customer involvement and commitment when they introduced this option. Hats off to the builders and those involved.

I am looking forward to this! Thanks for the info.
I would love to be able to watch my car get built from the beginning to end. Not sure how long it take a car to go through the full assembly line. All I need is a cot and some coffee....

Agreed. The Buyer's tour is well worth it if you can afford the time & trip.
Just to be clear, you won't see your engine get built (different assembly line) but you can see the engine get mated to the transaxel.
