Curious to know the age of you other z06 order-ers, and if you had vettes before this new z we are all waiting on???
I'm 72 and the new Z will be my 10th one..it's always been the HP that keeps me going ! 3 previous ZO6s

I'll be 55 next Wednesday. First vette at 18 ('68 427 vert), second at 27 ('66 327 vert), third at 48 ('08 Z06), forth at 52 ('67 427 vert) and number 5 (C7 Z06) will be here soon. My point in all this is the Corvette is a car for all ages.

54 - 1st Vette. Getting out of Street Bikes and Ski Boats. I'll settle with the Z06 and two or three dirt bikes.

54. Got my first Vette at 45. This will be my 15th. (in 9 years...yeah I know, I've got a problem - lack of moderation)
Loving every minute of it.

68 and I bought my first corvette in 1969 (wish I hadn't sold it for $2400 in 1972). I have always owned at least one and currently have 3. This will be my third Z06. I love the power and handling of corvette.

First Vette at 19, a black 57
First new one at 21, a 66 427
Latest at 69, a yellow Stingray coupe
Of 25 Vettes 17 were factory ordered, 8 were used. 10 were yellow*

* I've found that for a Vette that is driven frequently it's hard to beat yellow. Looks great day or night, sunny or cloudy. Always looks clean unless really dirty, doesn't show dust. My yellow Vettes were controversial years ago but now that yellow is associated with the winning race team it's pretty well accepted.
