OUCH!!!! This sucks!!!

My friend (Cimon) was driving today on M59 in Michigan and noticed a Z06 convertible on a tow truck with heavy front end damage.

See the three pics below.

The tow truck driver was not too happy that he was taking pictures.

Possibly nobody. Could have been used in a test..? Lets face it we just saw the nurb's yellow Z on a conventional tow truck just the same..

Last time i checked the crash test facility was not on a dirt/mud road. Looks like cup tires. This plus cold temps are likely the culprit.

BTW the Z looks like DSOM to me, not red

Here is DE if your caught using an electronic device while driving a commercial vehicle its a $10,000 fine for the driver. That driver is dangerous.

I just posted before seeing this (title notes red but car was actually copper colored.). Car was on median on I94 heading Westbound at about the 146 mile marker. Road was wet and about 40 F. I do not know about the new tires, but I know virtually zero traction with the tires on my ZR1 (left ZR1 home when I saw the weather forecast for this reason). I passed shortly after the accident occurred ( just one police car on scene). Dirt all over the highway, shoulder pretty torn up, everyone looked OK. I think I passed right around noon.

GM is going to make sure the new Z06 gets the highest insurance rating available.

That is a convertible, so it is probably not the one that we saw on the forum. JD

Two things to take away from this.

1. GM is not paying attention to it own warnings about cold temps and cup tires.

2. People who ordered DSOM are reading this and getting pissed about their orange car being described as copper
