You probably won't receive a TPW, but if doing the buyer's tour will get a window for build date. But at 3400, it will be built soon.

Nice going Michael. Unless things go terribly wrong, the hold should be relatively short.

Hope not!

Carybob are you with a tpw of 12-1 also? Would be kinda cool to meet some of you folks at either the buyers tour and/or museum delivery. I'll be the guy in his mid 30's with some premature gray hair and I'll probably be smiling ear to ear

First consensus just went 3400 today. Things are moving slower than I thought they would, but it is OK. At least they are moving. JD

Just checked live chat.....no vin no TPW....I'm thinking these people can't help me anymore.
Not doing the museum delivery or buyers tour...got to work....

I know I'm close, any other way to get status....or TPW...
Like the rest of the northern half of the country...it's snowing and very cold here in Colorado.....not ready for my Z anyway!!!

The first Z06's rolled off the line today starting of course with #1. Best guess around 49 were built today as they had a late start due to the fire on Friday.

First, Chevy Customer Service has said that the initial production of the Z06 would not get TPWs (Target Production Week) like the standard Stingray status info, as the dates are subject to change at a much higher rate than when production is in full swing. Even when they start issuing TPWs, that is just a target, the Monday of the week they expect your car to come off the line.

If you are getting the Buyers Tour, you will have access to better info, including an actual build date, but not until your car is actually sequenced for production. That is status 3300 or 3400. This won't happen until after your order is actually accepted by GM, status 2000. VINs are usually assigned after a car reaches 3400.

Your dealer can pull up your status with a few keystrokes. He can then either print out the full OrderWORKBENCH document, or save it as PDF file and email it to you. A good dealer will have no problem with this. After all, you are spending close to 100k on a Chevy, they can at least keep you informed. My last two vettes, the dealer sent me a weekly email as well as a copy of the OrderWORKBENCH anytime the status changed.

If your dealer is unwilling to do this (and that should tell you something,) you can go to this thread

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ng-thread.html

Give them your order number and the state of the dealer. In a day or two, they will get back with your status. Please follow the guidelines in the first post of that page and don't request more than 1 update per week and give them a couple days to respond.

Just my $0.02 worth, but the GM tracking site is pretty basic and about worthless.

You first consensus folks who just now went 3400, did you try to order CFV on a non-Z07 initially?

I didn't have one as of this morning. Unfortunately, I can't do a tour or museum delivery this time.
