Anyone interested in buying a new set of Pilot Super Sport Cup tires. I'll have a pair for sale as soon as the car gets here.

I replaced the OEMs on my 2010 GS with Michelin PS2 SS and the difference on the track was nothing short of amazing. I'll probably stick with them on this car. I did get oversized non-runflats in the Michelins.

I really like the Michelin PS2 ZPs on mine (OEM).

I thought the new Michelin PSS ZPs (OEM) were supposed to be even better (new design/technology)...?

EDIT: interesting discussion in this thread...

The MPSS is a far superior tyre to the PS2 in dry and wet traction/handling and longevity. It is IMHO the best ultra high performance tyre you can currently buy. One more thing: they are cheap. My 2013 M5 came with them and the rears only just had to be replaced at approximately 15,000 miles, and that after quite a few launches using LC.

I like the looks and power of the z06, but It would likely cost me 30k to 40k more, not sure if it would be worth it?
It's worth it.

Therefore, the only real question is whether 200hp is street friendly. It is a silly question then, no?
Try driving at 2k RPM's and less then come back and comment!

I think my 16 M7 is very street friendly. I consider it very easy to drive and use probably less than half the power. But it’s there if I want to punch it.

Overkill--yes. Fun as hell-yes.
Cold tires, especially SC2's will teach you respect very quickly. You hear this over and over--because it's true. You will never fishtail a car easier.

I could have a horrible day at work, have my boss yell at me, have an argument with the girl Im seeing but once I get in that z06 and slowly take it to 50 mph or so and then just slam the gas pedal all the way down and hold it for even a few seconds it brings an ear to ear grin to my face. Just try it for yourself and see. I was considering a grand sport but the power of the z06 in a straight line is something you have to experience to appreciate.

I did this once but for some reason my neighbors got really really mad!
