Default Some input please

I have ordered the A8 so am waiting. Was going to get the DSOM with the black wheels. Thought it was really sharp. However I have seen the C7 in Black with black wheels and interior. WOW!!!! What do you guys think? Undecided now.

I like black, but not on this car. My previous Z was black on black as well. I decided TR for this car because it shows off the lines better. Black wheels are a must.

I am going with the Triple Black as the car just wants that color so bad.
The styling is very aggressive especially with the black spoiler and is very masculine looking in black.
I am also going with some visible carbon fiber interior and exterior. The interior Jet Black with the visible carbon fiber also has trim in brushed aluminum or silver. Therefore I will be highlighting the very important visible carbon fiber ground effects and vents just along the edges to provide visibility to those areas. That will be done in Blade Silver to complement the interior and provide uniformity for the entire car.
Final touch will be the calipers in Blade Silver with black writing.

Can't wait to get my Black!

Usually your happiest with your first choice. For what it's worth, IMO on this car the dark colors tend to temp down the lines and all of the vents, scoops, spoiler, etc. which gives the car a more subdued look (not that it is that subdued looking) and the aero pieces blend in more. The bright/light colors such as DSOM, AW, BS, VY really show the contrast with the aero parts and make them pop and highlight the lines of the car. Either looks good. Just a question of which way you want to go.

Having seen at least 100 Z06's go down the assembly line last week, I "second" rob3's comments. In fact, heard the same thing from several others who were also there.

dsom all the way...black makes the car disappear. i see a black c7 that is in my area and it just doesn't stand out, looks drab. get the full length stripe also with that dsom and black wheels it will look killer!

My Stingray was triple black and it looked stunning. For the Z06 I opted for TR. I believe that black, as beautiful as it is, takes away from the Z06 lines.
