Question about how QC works. If a car has been produced but a QC problem has been discovered on the assembly line, do they actually go through every car in the lot and make the fix? Thanks for any info on this process. Frank

Yes, if required. This is the reason the cars are held on site for a while.

It also depends on what the problem is. If it's isolated to a particular batch of a particular part, etc., then they might not necessarily go back and check every single car but instead only check the cars with that particular batch of that part.
Very glad they do it -- hence they can take their time delivering my car. I am trying to imagine the process itself if, say, 200 or 300 cars need something done to them. The labor must be considerable, though less expensive than warranty claims or a bad reputation. Thanks for everyone's thoughts.
