Black wheels get dirty fast. Black wheels look ghetto to me. Non chrome wheels can be easier to keep looking clean though , chrome can take a fair bit of work to maintain and cheap chrome wheels are horrible things. GM had some horrible quality chrome wheels in the past, like the Firehawk wheels. But think newer GM chrome wheels are much better quality. Had chrome on my 08 z06 in my avatar pic . Everyone liked them on it.

Some like blondes, some like redheads, some like brunettes. To tell a guy that you don't like his choice, is just being hateful. I prefer to just enjoy the fact that for these new Z06 owners, an expensive dream has finally come true. Wow they are all so nice, thanks for sharing yours with us, and congratulations.

I like DSOM and chrome wheels, great combination but when I saw chrome wheels on a black ZO6 it looked to outstandish if there is such a word.

There's a reason why Chevrolet is charging $2,000.00 extra for the chromes over the standard silver. Their trying to change the old mindset of these hideous chrome wheels. You will never see a chrome wheel on a Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, Aston Martin etc. etc. from their factories. Chevrolet is desperately trying to educate their clientele of this but there are still some old stragglers out there.
I don't care for the black ones, but it is not my car, and appreciate the fact that is the way the owner likes it and that is what counts

^ Exactly. I don't really care for black wheels either, but you won't find me starting threads on the subject or mindlessly posting melodramatic narratives in other threads about GM trying to educate the masses on the importance of not going chrome
