Default Siide Mirrors

My dealer called this afternoon and my order has been accepted. However there is Something I find odd. Everything I ordered is available, but the dealer told me that since I have ordered the 3LZ that the side mirrors HAVE to be black, not exterior pain color!! Is that right? I find it a bit hard to believe.

The black side mirrors are a $100 extra and have their own code. I ordered them on my 3LZ Crystal Red with those as an accessory, but my original order was without them.

No thats not rite, The black mirrors are a stand alone option for $100. He may have it confused with the carbon flash emblems on the front and rear which are standard on all Z06's.
I have a 3Lz on order and my mirrors are the color of the car.

thanks for the replies guys. I was pretty sure that wasn't right. I have an order number, what website do I get on to check the status of the car?

You should be able to get status from your dealer, but you can go to Chevrolet.com and use the "chat" function.

Well, I am at a loss here. I just talked to the salesman again and he swears that the only way I can get body colored side mirrors with with the 1LZ. 3LZ is only available in black. He says it won't let him order it any other way.

Call another dealer like Kerbeck or MacMulkin and verify for yourself. TTV - Carbon Flash Painted Mirrors are a $100.00 accessory that you should not have to purchase unless you want to. Period.

Some of the dealer stories are baffling. Just have him print out the order, and make sure that the option code for black mirrors isn't present (TTV is it?).

Congrats, you have an order. As long as you don't change anything, it should progress pretty fast, now.
